about
Created before Onysus' debut album (Dyosun: Between Two Wolds), Blind Men focuses on the manipulation of mass media and religion by an elite group in order to “blind” the common population from reality. This is the idea embodied in the character Frank in Dyosun.
lyrics
Hollow brains
Of men blinded
Taught to obey
The Lords of crime
Those who lead our crooked lives
Choosing our dreams and desires
News planted to deceive
TV man, what should I believe?
Occupying your mind with lies
Media makes you blind men
Blind men
Read between the lines
Find the holy lies
Listen to the world’s cries
False fables command your life
Too complex to realise
Priests and prayers come
Tell me the sins I’ve done
Occupying your mind with lies
Religion makes you blind men
Blind men
Harvesters of hatred come
Tainting the light from our skies
A wave of darkness blocks the sun
Exposing us to all the lies
We’ll be saved from this torment
By new blood with different aims
We’re tired of being defeated
In false and disposable games
Hollow brains
Of men blinded
Taught to obey
The Lords of crime
Those who lead the world’s brightness
Painting blurred the human madness
Mind over matter
Money over all
Hollow brains
Of men blinded
Taught to obey
The Lords of crime
